Death Move # 7
- Let's play the air guitar... place your hands together and grip a ghost club... there is 20" of snow on the ground. Swing the club up to the top feeling all you weight balanced on the your back foot.
- Start your downswng squence by bumping your weight into the left foot and NOT unwinding your torso and limited unwinding of your upper body. This will creat a channel for you arms to swing and approach from the inside of the target line and generate a signifcant amount of centrifugal force!
- When the weight is on the left foot - allow the arms to drop, keeping your trap muscles relaxed let those arms drop.
A Timed Tested Drill
- Pump and Pump and Go Drill
- Tee up a 7 iron, 1/2" or so, bump your weight into the left side and and pump your arms past the height of your waist, and swing back up to the top and repeat.
- Finally on the third pump, let it go... make contact with the golf ball... Remember Quality over Quantity of distance, get the motion down in slow motion first then over time gradually pick up the rythem.
